Our Chilean adventure is over and we want to say thank you for your encouragement, prayers and support. We had an unforgettable time! We cleaned a lot of toilets, ate a lot of empanadas, saw a lot of lizards (but caught none), climbed a lot of trees and learned a bit of Spanish. We will miss working alongside the Sandvigs and being a Tio, Tia and friend to so many kids. We are spending a week in California before we get home. Thank you for following our adventure with us!

ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you had the opportunity to go to Chile and serve God there for these weeks, as a family. Missing you has been nothing in comparison to the joy it gave me to look at your blog and know that you were happy doing what you were doing and that so many people and kids were blessed by you. I am sure that your influence will last a long time and the affect this time will have had on you all will last for eternity. I love you dearly, will be happy to see you home again, but hope that this last week will also be lots of fun for all of you.

Hey all you guys! I think about you everyday... and miss you just as often. We LOVED having you here with us, as I know the kids at the two schools did too!THANKS again for coming into our lives, for being encouragers, fun, cool people, good parents, good kids (great tree climbers!), down-to-earth, generous and enjoyable neighbors. Can you tell I'm one of your greatest fans?! hehe Enjoy southern Cal! Hope fitting back into Calgary life and weather isn't too big of a shock.
